Will what we talk about remain confidential?

Yes. What you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legal exceptions, including situations involving risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect, or when required by a valid court order. We will review confidentiality in more detail during your first session.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments may be subject to a $75 fee.

How long will I be in therapy?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients attend therapy for a few months to work through a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term support for personal growth and ongoing life stressors. We’ll regularly review your progress and goals together.

What issues do you help with?

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, overthinking, stress, burnout, self-doubt, low confidence, life transitions, and feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you gain clarity, develop coping skills, and move forward with greater confidence.

What can I expect in the first session?

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, your goals, and any questions you may have. My goal is to create a comfortable space where you feel heard, supported, and understood.

Do I have to be in crisis to start therapy?

Not at all. Many of the people I work with are managing work, relationships, and daily responsibilities but still feel anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted. Therapy isn’t just for crises—it’s also a place for growth, self-discovery, and learning healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges.
